Joshua
J. Bettencourt joined Kahn, Soares & Conway, LLP as an associate in
2005, concentrating his practice in corporate and partnership law, intellectual
property, and labor and employment relations. He is admitted to the California
Bar and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of California.
In 2005, Josh received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of
San Diego, School of Law. While attending law school, Josh twice received
Honors for academic excellence in Legal Research and Writing and was presented
with the award for Outstanding Appellate Brief in 2003. Josh earned his
Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University
in 2001, graduating cum laude and as a Phi Beta Kappa member.
Outside the office, Josh enjoys trout fishing in the Upper Kings River and assisting members of his family on their local organic farm. Josh is also a member of the Kings County Bar Association.
Josh was recently married. He and his wife, Maya, reside in Hanford, California.
